Langton Architecture Services
Services
Langton Architecture (Services) Limited can take projects from inception through to completion, although this can be tailored to suit the individual client / project requirements. A list of services we can offer are detailed below:
Free Planning & Design Advice
We offer a free initial consultation service, providing an opportunity to discuss the project, weigh up potential design options, establish the project brief and for those who are new to construction projects, a chance to explain the processes involved and various stages and statutory approvals required for the successful delivery of any project. Langton Architecture are well informed on current legislation and are able to advise on whether planning permission will be required, or if the proposals fall under current permitted development rights, meaning planning permission may not be required at all. Following our initial consultation, we will always provide you with a full written no obligation fee quotation, detailing not only our fees and payment terms, but also the fees of other consultants required to progress the project to a stage where it ready to commence on site.
Preparation & submission of Building Regulations applications
We are well experienced in the preparation and submission of Building Regulations applications on projects of all sizes, working with both Local Authorities and Approved Inspectors to secure Building Regulations approval as and when required.
Other consultants
Langton Architecture have good working relationships with a wide variety of consultants, calling on their services as and when projects require their involvement and support. Feasibility Studies
Often it can be difficult to decide upon the best possible layout / solution for larger or more complex projects without first considering the various options. Preparation of a feasibility study to look at the potential options ensures the project proceeds to the detailed design stage with the best possible solution.
Preparation, issuing & managing of full working drawing & tender packages
A fully detailed working drawing and tender package are vital to establishing the full cost of a construction project, with both Client and Contractor clear on the full extent of the works involved and the cost of each element.
Draftsman
Smaller, simpler projects can sometimes purely need a draftsman to draw up part or all of a building or interior space, ensuring accurate interpretation of the dimensions involved and ensuring all aspects of the project fit.

Langton Architecture have vast experience in the preparation and submission of planning and listed building applications on projects of all sizes. Our experience ensures we provide sound advice during the preparation of the proposed scheme, we are well versed in submitting planning applications and liaising with Local Authorities during the application period, ensuring all schemes have the best possible chance of securing planning approval.

Having an experienced professional arrange and supervise the execution of a construction project provides the Client with the reassurance the works will be carried out in accordance with the detailed design package. We can arrange and administer a variety of building contracts, again providing both Client and Contractor with the clarity and protection associated with any contract.
